A long-billed corella (Cacatua tenuirostris). We wondered if this bird's long bill presented any challenges for eating grain, its food. No problems. Old Timer turns its head and plants its cheek on the ground to scoop up seeds with the lower mandible and deftly processes them with the sharp edge of the mandible while tumbling the kernel into position with its tongue.
