Note added 26/01/2013: This is a very special photograph to me. I made it early in 2005, soon after I'd returned to photography, armed with some experience with graphics software. I added the bird, liked what I saw, and thought "Yes!, now I can realise something that I imagine—through the medium of digital photography". I was hooked.
I'm a bit of a loner, and can honestly say that I saw myself in this image when I created and titled it.
