Reprising yesterday's show of marine power. The smooth swells without the clutter of chop make for rich black and white images. This image has been processed in Lightroom to produce a generally low-key effect to allow the patch of break in the sun's spotlight to assert itself. I'm pleased with the velvet sheen on the dark water.
If I cover the bottom half of the image I can imagine myself as a golden eagle soaring above the steppe of Kazakhstan (I've seen the pictures in the book 'Hunting with Eagles'!)
